Where should I start is the big question. I have been using aromatherapy for over 15 years, but it was 4 + years ago when I decided to start this business. My first profession is nursing, I have been a Registered Nurse since 1987. I have always enjoyed gardening, the fragrance of flowers and herbs, the many scents associated with nature have always fascinated me, and here in Miami since we practically live in summer all the time. I have the opportunity to garden and explore the out doors almost all year.

So you ask how did Aromatherapy Outlet start. About 4 + years ago my husband and I decided that we wanted our children to be raised by us till they were ready to go to school. So I started to think what would be as rewarding as Nursing is to me, and would allow me to keep our children by my side. Well that was very easy Aromatherapy.

So I began to do research, bough as many books about aromatherapy, and essential oils as I could. After endless hours on the computer I took a course on web design and designed my own website. I'm also almost complete with my Aromatherapy Certification Course. And to make a long story short here I am. Doing what I love to do and with my daughter Princess Victoria by my side. She is almost 3 years old now, and our new bundle of joy Gabriel was born on April 1st, 2004.

ABOUT OUR OILS- I have spent and still spend endless hours on the computer researching and looking for the purest oils you can find. I'm a member of several aromatherapy e-mail list which provide a world of information from other practitioners who have in the business over 10-15 years. I don't buy from large companies I buy from small suppliers and distilleries all over the world. I request samples I test them out myself and on my friends whom I thank for being my test subjects.

The oils I offer are no comparison to those you find in the health food stores. Nothing artificial is ever added, no diluting agents, no extenders and so forth. We now carry a large line of organic oils also. As mentioned in our home page, I don't buy oils by price but by quality and purity.

About 3/4 of our oils are tested for purity, they are controlled by lot numbers that match the GC/MS lab results for purity for that oil. Why don't I test all the oils that would drive your prices up tremendously. I don't want to pass those cost on to you. New suppliers I treat with caution, I request samples, test result and so on before making a first or any purchase.

And that is how it all began, here we are almost 4+ years later and growing every day thanks to all our loyal customers, some have been with me since the very beginnings.
